Klaipeda Airlines Ltd. performs special aviation works in agriculture and forestry using planes AN-2. We can spray or dust chemical materials for farmers or agricultural companies. The dusting equipment installed in airplanes AN-2 enables to dust fertilizers evenly with a density starting from 50 kg/ha up to 500 kg/ha. The spraying of liquid materials is available in densities starting from 3 l/ha up to 200 l/ha. Depending on distance range, AN-2 stows up to 1500 kg of chemical material. Considering the complexion of works to be performed, aircraft can be supplied with satellite navigation equipment (GPS) that assures even spread of chemicals in both – big and small- areas.

Aviation in forestry will serve in pest– rodent, insect, locust - control cases and vaccinating wildlife.

In many years of practice our company pilots have gained big and valuable experience in performing special aviation works in Lithuania, as well as Russia and Kazakhstan.

Klaipeda Airlines Ltd. performs parachute descent. One of our AN-2 planes is specially equipped for parachute jumps with the option to use static line canopies and other devices. The plane accommodates 12 parachutists. Pilots, well experienced in parachutist descent and knowing the particularity of these flights, operate the plane.

The company is capable to arrange parachutist descent in Lithuania and abroad.

Upon request, Klaipeda Airlines Ltd. representatives in cooperation with Klaipeda Skydiving Club can travel to requested spot, train individuals, who wish to make a jump using round canopy parachute and perform their descent.

Aerial filming and photography

Photographers and filming operators might be interested in our offers to arrange special flights contributing their professional activity. These flights can be performed using Planes AN-2 or PA28. We fix the equipment on stationary base. While performing works through an open door or out of ramp, the operators are equipped with all necessary means of safety. Client himself decides the height and speed of the flight.

The photographs and video films recorded on the flights by our planes have been repeatedly used in TV programs, documentaries, information publications and photo albums showing scenic Lithuania’s Seacoast.

We patrol objects in forestry, electricity lines, pipelines, hunting fields, etc. Depending on distance and number of passengers, we use planes AN-2 or PA-28. AN-2 accommodates 12 people and is suitable if the distance is up to 1000 km, PA-28 - 3 people, and up to 800 km of distance. In order to locate the reason or eliminate the breakdown our helicopter can be landed an any required spot.

Aircraft flight is perfect for hunting field surveys, animal and bird counting, ornithological observations and other environment control works.

We can arrange original show-flight programs using plane AN-2 for aviation events and shows. The unique AN-2 performance involving pilotage elements is especially popular.
