The first planes landed in Klaipeda airport in
1977. Klaipeda aviation squadron was founded the same year intended
for sanitation, rescue and special aviation works in agriculture
and forestry.
Up to date we exploit planes AN-2 and Piper-28. Our main activities include special aviation works, technical
aircraft maintenance, repair and preparation of pilots.
The company intensively develops repair base for planes AN-2
in which aircraft maintenance and repair are performed. We provide
parts and engines (ASH-62) for planes AN-2, carry out engine replacements.
Klaipeda airlines Ltd. has clients in Estonia, Latvia, Sweden,
Canada, Belgium, Spain, cooperates with suppliers from Ukraine
and Russia.

The company holds these valid
licenses and certificates:
- License No. 7 - authorizes the company to fly passengers,
cargo and mail for payment with the condition that maximum
cargo weight is 10 tones and/or the aircraft is equipped
with less than 20 passenger seats.
- The Lithuanian Republic Civil Aviation Carrier Certificate
No. 009
- Technical Maintenance Certificate No. 022
- Permission No. 4 for aviation specialist training.
