Pilot and aviation specialist preparation

Non-pro pilot preparation

In Klaipeda Airlines Ltd we train pilots following CAA approved pilot training program for obtaining SE (Single Pilot) License.

Non-pro pilot course is open to individuals aged 17 and more and having the 2nd level health certificates. This certificate can be issued by medical commission (the requirements are practically identical to the medical examination for drivers license). Here in Klaipeda You can apply for medical certificate to “Jurininkai” clinic.
The course, involving theoretical and practical training, is taking place at Klaipeda Airlines base. The theoretical knowledge is examined by test, practical – during flights, performed using plane PA-28 (other types of planes are optional). Minimal flying experience before taking flying exam is not less than 45 hours. The entire course is 2 months length on the average. Upon clients request (if all the requirements are met) the training program length can be reduced.
After successfully going through the training program the applicant shall take theoretical exams and one practical flying exam. Examination is possible in English or Lithuanian and is accepted by CAA representatives.

Our instructors are specially trained, certificated, experienced pilots, who’ve successfully prepared a lot of students.

Pilot retrain

The company also retrains certified pilots to operate AN-2, various SE-class planes. Retraining program involves theoretical classes about the aircraft’s distinctive properties and practical training. The length of the course depends on aircraft type, as well as on pilot’s preparation and experience. The applicant, successfully gone through pilot retraining course, obtains the qualification of aircraft captain or the 2nd level pilot.

The courses are held in Klaipeda Airlines base and can be taken in Lithuanian, English or Russian.
